Links: Marvel Adventures, Smile, and the NASCAR Mole

January 27, 2010 by Brigid Alverson   Leave a Comment

Marvel will be relaunching its Marvel Adventures line of all-ages comics in April with Spider-Man #1 and Super Heroes #1. At Robot 6, Tim O’Shea talks to Paul Tobin, the writer of both comics, about what to expect in the new line.

Heidi MacDonald sums up the recent brouhaha about Bluewater Comics, which apparently offers its creators the worst contract this side of not paying at all.

Scott McCloud thinks Raina Telgemeier’s Smile has something special, and he’d like to see more of it—and more places for kids to find it.

Deb Aoki notes that the Twilight graphic novel rocketed to the Amazon top ten based on pre-orders alone.

Read it and laugh: Chris Sims takes a look at The Adventures of Digger and Friends, a comic that features the NASCAR mole in the title role.
