Picks:

Supergirl Cosmic Adventures in the Eighth Grade TP – Comics for girls have been few and far between, but this title does a good job at filling some of the gap.  Collecting all 6 issues, this book follows Supergirl as she goes on cosmic adventures, meets super-powered pets and faces an adversary worse than any super villain; junior high schoolmate Belinda Zee.  Tween girls will enjoy the fun and exciting story and this collected edition makes it easier for libraries to stock for them.

Mini Marvels Ultimate Collection GN-TP – While Superhero Squad is Marvel’s kid friendly series based on a toyline, Mini Marvels is a true all ages collection without an agenda.  This book collects all the Mini Marvels specials into one convenient volume for easy carrying and reading.  All your favorite Marvel characters are here, downsized for a high cuteness factor and with stories both young and old can enjoy.  Spiderman gets the Paperboy Blues.  Wolverine goes on a Cereal Quest.  Hulk goes on a date!  If you like your laughs on the go, this is a perfect option for you.
