Rod Espinosa Legend of Sleepy Hollow – Washington Irving’s classic ghost story get a new retelling from Rod Espinosa.  Ichabod Crane is the new schoolmaster for the village of Sleepy Hollow.  He’s quite popular with the ladies, but no so much with the men of the village.  Is one of them trying to teach him a lesson, or is there really a headless horseman who stalks the roads at night searching for a head?  This story has been enjoyed by young and old for generations, and this most recent retelling will do so as well.

Mickey Mouse & Friends #296 – Boom! Studios staged quite a coup when it snatched up the Disney properties after Disney decided not to renew their license with Gemstone.  This issue is the first one to come out since then.  Mickey, Donald and Goofy are wizards off to the great tournament so Mickey can face Peg Leg Pete and get his revenge on Peg Leg for stealing the Rain Crystal from Miceland!  Boom! Studios has been doing an excellent job with the Disney/Pixar titles so far.  There’s no reason to believe this will be any different.
