Over at the mother ship, Peter Gutierrez rounds up some great graphic novels for grades K-4.

And for older readers, the YALSA folks have posted the latest nominations for their Great Graphic Novels for Teens list.

Andy Burns has an interesting article (part one, part two) on whether kids read comics at all—and what’s needed to entice them back.

At the Graphic Novel Reporter, Alex Simmons asks "Are Comics Like Real Books?"

Good news for fans of Raina Telgemeier (The Babysitters Club, X-Men: Misfits, Smile): She’s making lots of public appearances this month.

Talented artist Amy Mebberson talks about her work on the Monsters, Inc. comics for BOOM! Studios at the Disney Comics Worldwide blog.

How do they do it? The Temple of the Seven Golden Camels posts some vintage advice from a Disney artist. (Via Webcomics.com.)

There are more Archie and Sonic previews up at the Archie News blog, along with the news that Archie Freshman Year #1 is the most downloaded comic on iTunes.
