Picks:

Franklin Richards Sons of Geniuses #1 – This all ages comedy from Marvel follows the adventures of the son of Reed and Susan Richards of the Fantastic Four, Franklin and his robot sidekick Herbie.  This book is made up of 5 different stories that has Franklin traveling to alternate Marvel Universes and meeting those versions of himself.  The art is in the style of Calvin and Hobbes, as is the humor, making this a title truly appropriate for everyone.

Sugar Princess Skating to Win Vol 2 – This is the second and final volume in this shojo about Ice Skating.  Maya, a girl with a natural talent for ice skating, is noticed by a scout who want to pair her up with Shun, a famous skater, but Shun only wants to skate single.  In this final volume, Maya and Shun must team up to skate in a pairs competition to save their skating ring.  Can they get their act together in time?  This is another title aimed squarely at girls, in both subject and characters.  More open minded and/or adventurous boys may enjoy it though.
